The expansion of Dimensions to index additional dataset types from DataCite and Figshare is a significant step forward in increasing the amount of data available through the service. This move will not only provide a 140% increase in the number of datasets indexed, but will also increase the diversity of data for analysis and research purposes. The additional type of indexed data types are: Physical objects, software, data papers, data collections, and other records.
