Researcher Critical Technologies (beta)

We are very pleased to announce the release a new AI-powered feature in beta for our users at academic institutions.

Researchers working in critical technologies often require more intense review and potential risk mitigation in order to effectively manage the risks involved, particularly relevant when vetting potential collaborators or grantees.

Critical technologies are defined by governing agencies, so no single critical technology list is sufficient for compliance purposes. Our new functionality allows you to work across multiple lists, choosing the ones most relevant to your needs.

This feature will allow users to generate brief summaries of potential overlaps between a researcher's recent work and several critical technology lists to inform risk assessments and potential risk mitigation efforts. Available critical technology lists include:

• AU Critical Technologies

• CA Sensitive Technology Research Areas

• EU Critical Technologies

• UK High Risk Research Areas

• US White House Critical and Emerging Technologies

• US Department of War
