We are excited to announce the launch of the Organization Hierarchy View, a powerful new feature designed to significantly improve your search experience and query-building efficiency.

What's New

Finding and selecting the right organizations for your search is now easier than ever. When you search for an organization, you will now have the ability to instantly view its complete hierarchical structure.

  • Visualize the Full Picture: See any organization in the context of its parent, child, and sibling entities.

  • Navigate with Ease: Intuitively expand and collapse branches of the organizational tree to explore its structure.

  • One-Click Query Addition: Seamlessly add a single entity, a specific sub-tree, or an entire branch of the hierarchy directly to your search query.

This feature is designed to help you build more precise and effective searches with less effort.

  • Improved Efficiency: Spend less time manually searching for related departments or subsidiaries.

Timed for the Organization Data Expansion

The release of this feature is especially important following the recent update of the Dimensions organizations database. This update introduced approximately 250,000 new organizations and significantly increased the detail and granularity of many existing hierarchies. The Organization Hierarchy View is the key to navigating this newly enriched and more complex data landscape, allowing you to leverage its full potential.

How to Use It

  1. Search for an organization in the organizations filter

  2. Click the new 'View organizational structure' in the context menu next to the organization's name

  3. Explore the interactive tree and add the desired organizations to your search.
